More about UV STANDARD 801The fabric of the men's UV long-sleeve shirts is a chlorine- and saltwater-resistant UV-Tech 168 made of 82% polyester and 18% elastane — light, breathable and with high UV protection. Certified to UV STANDARD 801 by the Hohenstein Institute (NB 0555) and classified as EU PPE Category I under Regulation 2016/425. The UPF rating holds when dry, wet and across multiple washes — exactly as the UV STANDARD 801 test protocol requires.
Thoughtful details for real sun protection: raglan sleeves with thumbholes for seamless coverage of the backs of the hands, a raised back collar and an extended back hem protect the spots where sunscreen quickly disappears. Flatlock seams and a coverstitch hem ensure chafe-free comfort, and a YKK zip pocket keeps essentials secure.
