Transparency and safety — our UV protective clothing meets the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and is certified to UV STANDARD 801.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
All UV protection products by uveekai GmbH & Co. KG comply with the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and are classified as Personal Protective Equipment Category I (simple PPE).
The conformity assessment was carried out by the Hohenstein Institute (Notified Body No. 0555) and confirms that our products meet the applicable requirements for UV protective clothing.
UV Protection Certifications
Our clothing has been tested and certified to the following UV protection standards:

UV STANDARD 801 also measures wet, stretched fabric, and only the lowest value found during the entire test is declared (German Federal Office for Radiation Protection). Our products achieve UPF 80 under these conditions — mathematically, more than 98 % of the sunburn-effective UV radiation is held back.
