The options may be chosen on the product pageThe men's long UV pants use the denser UV-Tech 231 fabric made of 74% polyamide and 26% elastane — opaque, robust and resistant to chlorine and saltwater. Certified to UV STANDARD 801 by the Hohenstein Institute (NB 0555), classified as EU PPE Category I under Regulation 2016/425. The UPF 80 was measured on wet, stretched fabric — the state the fabric is actually in when worn: stretched over knees and thighs, sweaty or wet.
The high self-fabric waistband holds without digging in, while the extended gusset and back yoke give full stride length during movement. Flatlock seams prevent chafing, even under a pack strap or on the saddle, and the concealed YKK zip pocket keeps keys or cards secure.
